Plating a bike in BC?

I have a friend who's looking at bikes. Does anyone here know what it takes to plate a 2t in BC (or 4t, ugh). Any experiences, good or bad

The laws changed in the beginning of 2010. I haven't built any since then, because i've got a xr650r, and an af Cr500 supermoto insured now. I know guys are still doing it. Call The chop shop in Richmond and ask them.

I would guess that some shops might still try to do it, but if an inspector gets caught passing a bike that isn't DOT from the factory now I would imagine they could get fire if they got caught.
