Hand Pain

While riding: relax, a death grip on the bars is the biggest cause of this problem remember to squeeze the bike with your legs and try to have a very light grip on the bars.

Yeah, you don't have to white knuckle and go through a set of grips every 5 rides the entire time.

Relax man! LOL I get it when I first get on after being off a bike for a while. I just tell myself to loosen up. It goes right away and your riding abilities will get way better. Usually what goes along with this is breathing. Tell yourself to loosen up and breathe. You will be surprised how much it helps. I tell myself this the whole way through the race.
