oil migration problem.

I seem to have noticed a small problem that I would like to look after before it gets to be big. After a fresh oil change of both sides, engine and tranny I went for a ride. About 1 to 1 and a half hours in length.Now I notice my engine oil level is a little higher than it was and the tranny side is down a little. Is this a big job to repair? Will I have to split the cases? What else should I be looking out for? Are there any special tools that I might need? I do have a Honda sevice manual. And also what about this updated seal I've heard about? Thanks in advance for all your help.
