2008 450 SXF service manual.

Hey all, new here, as you can see, but have gotten lots of info from here as an uninvited guest!

I was wondering if anyone out there might happen to have a copy of the 2008 450 sxf service manual on their computer they'd be willing send my way?

Nobody? Do any paperback versions exist? If Im going to buy one I would much rather use that than bring a computer with me to get my hands dirty. I've been searching around but I'm thinking they don't exist.

I bought the one from ktmcyclehutt for 25.99 then printed it out on my color laser printer. If you don't have a color laser printer you could take it to kinko's and have them print it for a nominal fee, it is well worth the money. Works great, so now I have one in the shop and the cd version on my computer when I order parts.

I bought a few miscellaneous parts and the CD Rom Manual from them last year and everything went fine. I have a fairly large order in right now and am experiencing extremely poor customer service. This will be my last order with them. I am using munn racing http://www.munnracing.com/ now with very good results. They have free KTM owner's manuals but I believe 2007 is the latest year available.

Short version of my misadventure w/ktmhutt.

Placed an order, front brake relocation bracket and service manual on cd. They charge my card and I heard nothing for over a week. When I finally call them, on a Wednesday, I hear "Oh, we are expecting a shipment this w/e, your stuff might go out Monday or Tuesday". Tuesday comes and goes, no word. I call them again on Thursday, "Oh, we are waiting for the service manual". So I tell them I have a race in a week and I need that bracket, thats why I ordered it two weeks ago. Cancel the service manual and the guy on the phone starts giving me some spray about pulling strings to ship it on Friday. So, bracket finally shows up, cost me $140 for a $90 bracket and took 3 weeks to get here. Plus, I have to find a service manual somewhere else along w/the chore of looking for a reliable place for KTM stuff. Adding to this is the fact that every time I spoke to someone there they were very curt, bordering on rude and acted as though they would rather be recovering from dental surgery than talking to me. The final time I talked to them I was on hold for 14 minutes. I am glad business is so good but can promise that will change if they don't start taking care of their customers.

Rich what year and model are you looking for? A lot of manuals exist on PDF out there. I can help you out possibly if i know what to look for.

I have the repair/service manual for the 2008 SXF/XCF on the disc from the KTM dealer, bought it a month ago. Sell it to you for $12 if someone wants to save a few bucks.

I'm looking for the 2008 450 sxf. I have the factory owners manual but it only goes over routine maintenance. I want a manual that dives in deep, a full service manual.

Thats the exact same bike as mine but i have yet to get my hands on an '08 repair manual for free

Goes more in depth than the owners and basic concepts should be the same in the '07 but I am not too sure if certain specs changed in that one year time period.

It should be. As long as the factory forks are on there and you dont have an aftermarket suspension setup.

Okei I found the 07. I was changing the oil before going to practice, and metal parts came out with the oil. So I am going to tear the hole thing apart and service it.
