Hey all, thanks for the reply. I will now sell it, and get going on a new project. A 1980 Yamaha yz465. I was born that year so thought it would make a cool project. Thanks again

How much are you gonna ask for it?

Wow, I'd say that is a very fair price! I haven't seen a bike that sharp for $1700 in a while. Where did you find the plastics and stuff? I have a 91 CR250 that needs a facelift too. I really like what you did with yours! Props man!!!!

Man I miss my 95 cr250. I went the other route and powder coated the frame black (shouldve stuck with white!), these bikes are so much fun and very comfortable to ride. Well balanced with great motors. In the future I will buy another.

Tragedy has struck me this weekend. I landed off a small jump and heard a pop! I stopped the engine instantly and noticed oil poring out of the chain area. It broke a hole through the case, and it is junk. Does anybody know of a good set of cases or at least the left side?

I like it! Always cool to see an older machine come back to new condition. Sorry to hear about the cases. ebay?

did it bust out the clutch lifter?

I have a cr125 engine with the same problem. right now it is still in service with a j-b weld job but eventually I need to find a good left case or try to have it welded up correctly.
