Trying to keep up with you and your wisdom!

Pics or it didn't happen!!!!

Great rocket!!!:confused::worthy:

I'll be soon running a similar head combo on my x (07R ported head and 5R cam)

I thought both X and R use the same carb 40mm.. (I've once purchase a JD jetting kit for the R and it was also for 40mm.. also the ncvs R needle fits the X etc etc..)

Never heard of of a 41...

I'm now in serious thoughts for what jetting combo should i run in 40mm x carb with the R top end???:excuseme:

By the way how do you like that power??

I know the 02 cam is more powerful but can't wait to know what to expect of mine..:worthy::busted:

08 R has the 41mm Carb, Im running it with a NCYS needle.

I just got the r head and r carb put on after a complete top end rebuild (approx 10k miles), and havent even rode it yet. I have rode a race bike with the same setup mine now has and it ripped.

I was running the same needle with the x carb and 02 r cam.

Nice! Didn't know they went with a 41 on 08..

I'll run the R jets for the 40mm and hope to be fine..

Have fun!

What, is that an all-white CR125 in the background??

A 93 yz 250. Its a friends bike that was sitting outside for a couple years because he blew up the top end. Just got it all back together and fired it up. It just needs to be taken out and broke in.

great looking bike. Bet that will be hard to hang onto..

Man that is a nice looking "X"!!!

What bend are those Pro Taper bars? I want to replace my stock bars as they have a way to laid back feeling to them.
