Calling all Dirt Bikers and ATV'ers who enjoy using the singletrack and OHV systems of the Gunnison Basin!

Braaaap :worthy: your behind in to Gunny Motorsports (Fritz Kadlec's barn :thumbsup: ) Thurs May 12th at 6:30 to discuss ways we can defend and improve our priveleges to ride OHV's in the Gunnison Valley. Beverages and snacks will be provided and if you're inclined, please don't hesitate to bring over something yummy.

What the hell: A meeting to organize a group / club / association / alliance to represent the interests of motorized trail users of the Gunnison Valley.

This thing needs a name, kids. Bring your thinkin caps!

Goals of the organization include:

Representation - to land management agencies, land owners and other user groups / associations in the Valley

Advocacy - for our sports and interests

Education - for riders about etiquette and minimization of impact

Awareness - inform the public of trail conditions, events and issues facing public land users in the area

Entertainment - organize motorized events

Trail Maintenance & Clearing - alotta work but somebody's gotta git r dun & USFS needs help

we'll be meeting again 2 weeks from now on thurs may 26 at 6:30 pm at sunset hall (fire station) in crested butte south.

come on out for a ride on sunday (5/15)! we'll be doing trailwork/cleanup at hartman rox from 9 - 1 and then everyone's goin riding. we expect about 3 doz GOATs to show up & help out. weather should be epic - ptly sunny with a hi of 57 & precip on sat & sat night. tacky, cool & fast! :thumbsup:
