Question about flywheel/magneto removal.

I recently bought a 1989 KTM exc350 as a trail bike that needed a new magneto. Fortunately, the guy I bought it from had a whole spare engine (minus the piston) with a good magneto that was included with the bike. I need to switch the magnetos, but I honestly have no idea how to use a puller since I've had to switch one before. Can anybody please explain how to use one so I don't ruin my crank?

Thread the puller into the flywheel. Then thread the center bolt in, it will contact the crank end. Use a large wrench to lock the outside of the puller in place then turn in the center bolt. This will push the flywheel off the crank. Pay attention to reverse threads.
