How to clean goggles properly?

I always end up scratching the lens on the goggles I get and I don't know why. I always rinse them off and dry them with camera lens. But now I have gotten more expensive goggles like the Oakley Crowbars and I was wondering what the proper way to clean them was

Take the lens out, wash it with dish soap and warm water, dry with a microfiber towel, put it back in. If you get finger prints on it while putting it in, you can wet a corner of the microfiber, wipe the prints off and re-dry it with the dry section of the towel.

Works for me.

Use some form of mild soap and warm water. Rinse with warm water first- then the soapy solution.
