Carb Rebuild Kit - 1995/6 DR125SE

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have two DR125SE's - a '95 and a '96.

I need to rebuild the carbs on both, but can't seem to find a rebuild kit for the Mikuni BST31SS.

I've found a Keyster rebuild kit, but it's for a much earlier model.

Do any of you happen to know where I can get these?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Kevin

Can you read the part # on the right side of the carb?

I'd really like to know the BST31SS part #

I believe the DR250S may have used the same carb.

Did you contact Sudco or CPW? http://www.sudco.com/

Bob,

I looked on the right side of the carb. It says Mikuni Corp. The numbers are 44AB on one line and then below that are K461, I believe.

Does this help?

Let me know if it means something.

Kevin

I did some further research on sudco.com. Here's what I found.

From Sudco.com

Model Year Needle Valve Needle Float Bowl

Assy Valve Gasket/O-Ring

DR125SER/SES/SET 94-96 007-957 –––––– 021-875

$29.60/each $4.76/each

Same as 88/89 GSX600F Katana, 96-07 DR200SE

I'm waiting to hear back from them on the model.

Bike Bandit lists an HS40 as the carb rebuild part, but that appears to be a Harley carb.

Not at all. I was hoping it would be something like 14D0**** But mine is a lot older.

It's a 1991 so ya never know.

The kit from BB is definitely not correct. Thats a 40mm carb and I'm almost positive it's a pumper carb.

Did you call Sudco?

That kit sounds like it has all the right parts but they have to be the right size too

I know this is thread necromancy, but I am in the same boat with a 1994 DR125SE. The Mikuni has 44AB on the left side with E391 underneath it. Did you ever find anything out?
