Anybody ridden a 2011 yz 125

I was wondering what anybody who has ridden one thinks. I bought a 2011 yz 250 and really like it.

Here in Kalifornia..if a dealer will sell you one,, the MSRP is around $7200. I'm happy and holding on to my 05 KX. You made a good choice..any of the new 4 stroke can blow up at any time..costing around 3k just to fix it. Never bought into the hype when they came out. Hold on to that..they could stop production anytime. Great to see at least one Japanese magr is still building them.

Chances are you're better off asking someone who has an 05 or an 06, or 07 and so on...lol

I had a 2001,2004 ,2005 and currently have a 2009. I was just wondering on the European specs on the 2011. If that changed overall power and rideability at all.

I totally agree, but the MX bike mags worship the 4t bikes like spending THOUSANDS on rebuilding the fragile motors is some sort of SABBATICAL or something...

Gee, I just spent $2000-$3000 on a brand (fill in the blank) 250F/450F only to have it gernade again, oh boy... Sarcasm included, the new ones having ALL sorts of major problems not very enjoyable in my opinion but what do I know...

I have a 2006 yz 125. It's soooooooo nice! The 06-up suspension and new engine seem to be some good improvements compared to older yz 125s anything up to 04. But the older ones are still tons of fun too.

I dont think there will be much diff, all they did was go a little richer on the needle and main jets and change the silencer. I had to go richer on the main on my 09 when I added my FMF factory fatty and Ti shorty silencer, now its done for you. Add one tooth to the rear sprocket and go have fun.

The Yamaha YZ125's are pretty bulletproof, they also make great 'all-around' bikes.

That is a NICE YZ125, they are hard to find and very sought after.
