Recommended Posts

This is my friends property. We have the layout with one jump and a bunch of ruts but im just wondering if its too tight to be an actual track or are we just wasting are time. The video was taken with my phone so its sh*tty quality.

a private track? or like open to public?

I think for just you guys to mess around on and practice with work it can be made into a fun backyard track. Public, no.

yeah, no just for us. It would be a good place to train with the long sweepers and when it gets chewed up. we are just going to need a ton of dirt.

i think it would be a fun project.

My buddy has some land and this summer im gonna be helping him build a track.

Everyone should have to do it that rides track to appreciate the hard work that goes into it.

but yea, lots of dirt, time, water.

Def enough space... alot more than me and my buddy had to work with which is why we ended up with a SX style track. Nothing out of 2nd gear on our track.

Id love to have that kind of land... enough to build a high speed (4th, 5th gear), low profile mx track with maybe a triple or two to provide a little hang time but everything else be all about flow and speed. Moreso than timing and throttle control like our short track with jumps that launch you straight up and you dont have the chane to get outta second.

Even our local mx tracks are turning into 3rd gear hybrid sx tracks...

Looking to buy a used Beta 2017 500 RRS from outside California.  Can I plate (Register with CA DMV) the bike in CA?  If so what is the best way?  Don't have the money to put down for a new bike from a Dealer in CA.  Any help or sugguestions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

This continues to be my favorite trail/race weapon!! In our Eastern tight woods, power is not King, handling is. And this thing outhandles them all!!!!
