Carb cleaning 101

If you have a gnarly, varnished, dirty, plugged up carb, but are worried about carb cleaner, brake cleaner, various degreasers eating up small rubber parts or plastic, I can tell you, give Simple Green a try.

Buy a small bottle of Simple Green, disassemble the carb, put both in a plastic container big enough to hold the carb and parts and fill with enough water to completely cover the carb and parts.

Let it sit overnight, rinse well with clean water and blow out with compressed air being careful to blow the jets out good.

Assemble - good to go.

Easiest, least messy method I've ever tried.

I did 4 carbs over the weekend, all came out great.

Thanks to whomever originally came up with the idea of using Simple Green
