So my son has all his homework and chores done, and he's a great kid in general. He found out that the game is going on sale at midnight tonight, and wants to go to GameStop at 1145.

Why not. I'm kinda curious what kind of turnout this game commands...

Gamestop is not open at midnight except for huge game releases like COD.

I called the GameStop near me to confirm the game would be there tomorrow. The highly knowledgeable rep I spoke too said "yes, but we'll be open at midnight if you'd like to come get it tonight."

So it's on! I'd recommend calling your local GS and checking, though.

A quick funny story: I also called Walmart and the guy told me he hadn't seen the game, and that he was about to clock out and had already stayed 10 minutes past his shift. I was so stunned I just hung up and laughed.
