New Bike, Breaking in and other noob questions...

Hi All,

I finally pulled the trigger on a new 2008 model.

I will be picking it up this Friday.

I just found a thread here on TT about setting up a new bike (KX250F) and the breaking in how to....

Does this apply to the KLX450R too?

What did you guys do to your new bike?

Any help, suggestions, with my new bike are greatly appreciated and well respected.

Side note: I am a complete off-road beginner rider, despite being an old fart.

The link you posted is very good, very complete.

Don't forget to 'heat cycle' the motor when breaking it in. It will help with seating the rings, and not creating a flat spot in the power band.
