Recommended Posts

Anyone out there that has gone up two teeth on the rear, did you need to replace the chain?

Thanks,

I went to a 52T and had to run the chain adjustment screws all the way in to make the stock chain fit.

With standard length X chain on mine and a 110 Michelin tyre, it started wearing into the Mud flap. I've since gone back to a 51 (With FMF pipe)

ya..ditto I would change the chain or at least add a link. (I didn't) But it does wear away on the mud flap. I will be adding in a link this weekend.

And change your wheelbase/handling.

I've already bought the sprocket, so I guess I'll pick up a new chain with 2 more links (is that enough?).

Thanks for the replys!

Running 13/48 Is just in between 14/51- 14/52 and u won't have any problems!

Exactly what I did, just don't like big rear sprockets
