Quick question. Clutch cable.

Help!

I just found this. Looking on Bikebandit I can not find a clutch cable part #.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found the same thing a few months ago just as I was headed into a trail. Unfortunately, there were several stop lights and signs between there and home!!

Part # is 58200-29F10 for my '05 S. It's only about $20 at the dealer for OEM.

Thanks, that is the right part #.

For an S model $16 from the TT store, item 14 http://shop.thumpertalk.com/oem.asp?partcategory=432761&manufacturer=5&category=3&year=2006&model=10127

For an E model $16 from the TT store, item 2 http://shop.thumpertalk.com/oem.asp?partcategory=300250&manufacturer=5&category=3&year=2006&model=7242

That doesn't look like the stock lever assembly but I'm guessing it takes the stock cable?

I ordered it from Bikebandit, and paid too much. Cause I'm an idiot.

Thanks for the help.

Order another one and route in next to the new one. When it breaks, you'll have a replacement to get you back home.

That's a good plan, no doubt!

BK, make sure the ball rotates freely inside the lever, that's the cable killer.

If I'd had to order the cable, I'd have been all over the TT store. I had already checked the price. I took a shot in the dark at the dealer having it and he did. For no waiting, I'd probably have paid double!
