WYOMING - BLM Kemmerer FO - Dempsey-Rock Creek TMP Update

Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kemmerer Field Office (KFO) has added an informational open house for the Dempsey-Rock Creek (DRC) Travel Management Plan (TMP) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 at the Cokeville Town Hall at 110 Pine St. in Cokeville, WY.

The 125,000-acre DRC area is located 10 miles northwest of Kemmerer. The TMP will help provide and manage public access, maintain existing access rights and protect various resource values. The public is strongly encouraged to submit comments on their current usage of the DRC area and how they hope it will be used and managed in the future.

More information about the DRC TMP is available at

Please contact Wally Mierzejewski, recreation planner, at 307-828-4508 or wmierzej@blm.gov, with any questions or comments regarding the Dempsey-Rock Creek TMP.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact BRC.

Thanks in advance for your support,
