2000 YZ 250 Fork oil heght

I'm doing fork seals on my son's 2000 yz 250 Anybody know the oil height??

less oil is less bottoming resistance and more is more....right up to the point it blows the seals...lol. there is not a specific answer as it is variable.

The standard oil height is 135mm and the range is 80-150mm, measured down from the top of the outer tube with the spring removed and the fork and damper rod fully compressed. You'll need just over one quart of fork oil, so get two.

Less oil is less bottoming resistance, but also gives a softer initial stroke. I like to keep the oil level as low as possible without bottoming.
