El Mirage- is it dry?

California

Is there still water on the lakebed?

I want to camp there on Memorial w/e.

Thanks

Just got back from there, and yes it's dry.

Also very windy :smirk:

:smirk:

Been dry for a while now. Lakebed might have a couple rough spots so be safe and have fun! :smirk:

Thanks guys.

Hope area is getting some of this rain right now.

If light winds on Memorial- it will be a great time.

We have a pretty big crew going.

There's one place worse than El Mirage on M.day weekend......

Hungry Valley!:smirk:

But at El Mirage what out for:

squirrel dogs-The guy who does donuts in front of your campsite stirring up an ungodly amount of dust on an ancient, but still barely running, smoke spewing two stroke and chanting "This thing gots what it takes!"

Thieves

land-speed record holders

Rangers

dust devils

Been going there since 75.

Our camp is far away from the moron masses. (if the lake is open)
