1994 YZ/WR250 pwk jetting

I am putting a 38mm PWK airstryker on my 94 WR. I have a 5,6 and 7 slide available for my PWK. Any suggestions on which one to start with? I have several PWK needles as well. Any help appreciated.

Is there any mods you have to do to put this carb on your bike?

I think the '97 YZ250 came with the #6 slide and the '98 YZ250 came with the #7 slide.

Ron at RB Designs recommended a number 7 slide on my 38MM PWK Airstriker. I sent it to him recently to have it modded--divider plate installed, low speed circuit mod, and carb bored.

This is the single best mod I have done to my 97 WR250.

I ended up using the stock triple taper needle from the 2000 Honda CR250 I got it from.

Evening-Hope you don't mind if i jump in for a bit.I have a 94 YZ 250 .Nice fresh rebuild,Hit's pretty good.My carb is 38 Mikuni,pretty much stock,FMF Pipe-Bosien Rad reeds and big bowl.

It it worth the switch to a 38 PWK ?

Thanks-Prostreetray.
