Safe tire pressures

I'm doing the Berkshire Big Adv. ride this weekend. Going to do the 200 mile ride. What can I lower the tire pressure to for this ride(no rim locks). It's all mostly dirt roads, but it's going to rain most of this week so it may be a little muddy. I have the stock trailwings.

16 to 18 on my650 in mud

Form 15 down I would expect increasing chance of pinching tube

It depends, what kind of tires are you running? Edit: Disregard I noticed you have deathwings. I've run those as low as 12 since they have a firm side wall, but not for two hundred miles. If you're running dirt roads you probably don't need to air down too much. Stay clear of mud holes and you should be ok at stock tire pressure. Can't recall what that was on my DR for the TW42s but on my DRZ it was sonthing like 20 Rear and 19 front.

Completely safe pressures even in rocks would be around 20f/18r.

I don't go below that on the DR without rimlocks.

On the TT350 I run down to 16f/13r with the same rubber but it's a lot lighter.
