KX85/100 Longer Throttle & Clutch Cables?

I need to put bar risers (1 inch) on my son's 2007 big wheel 85 and just looking last night it seems like it would need longer cables. I believe that the cables for the 85 and 100 are the same (which makes sense). Are there longer ones you can get or can I get ones from a different model? Anyone know for sure? I assume that if the ends were the same I could use whatever I can find. Like I said I haven't really dug into it yet but thought maybe someone had done this previously.

Thanks

You might be able to just reroute the cables you have. I do know that Motion Pro will make custom lengths. Can't help you with a direct replacement.

I'll look at it further tonight. I figure there should be an easy fix since there's not too much info on this site. I'll check out Motion Pro's website too. Thanks

When I did my sons 100 with risers, The Motion pro Terminators were about 1.5" longer than stock.

you can get them from motion pro and terry cable. I rerouted the clutch cable under # plate bolt and the throttle goes from throttle , stays on right side of head stock and across the center of frame under gas tank. Have done them on 85 and 100 both have worked fine for years.

It looks like I should be able to re-route the throttle cable but I think I'll need a longer clutch cable. We're running EVO bars (Reed/Henry bend) which has an adapter that raises them about 1/2 inch and then I trying to add a 1" spacer. I'd like to get the Terminator cable Sappers suggested but I'm afraid maybe that won't be enough? I just don't want to have to do it twice and wait longer to get it setup the way I want.

Just email Motion Pro and tell them how much taller the bars will be. This is what they do.

Probably the best way to go:thumbsup:
