Help me find a good Baja tour.

Recommended Posts

Where would I go to book a 1 day Baja tour. Do all tours require a passport?

Im coming from Florida on the second week of June with two buddies. We all race and ride MX and it would be our first time riding in Southern Cali area.

BAJA BOUND MOTO of course

there are at least 4 others out here but BBM is the most "popular". Can't go wrong with these guys***.

Not sure about a one day deal.

Larry at Baja Trail Rides is good for the no frills "guide only" tour.

For a one day full guided deal, you'll try to get someone from here to take you to Tecate's Rancho Santa Veronica.

With all the travel time to and from...that can eat a whole day sometimes.

Mexico Requires a passport...not smart to try to swing it without one.

Not sure about a one day for hire ride, but I do Tecate to Ramona's and back a bunch in one day......lots of fun as long as you cross the border by 6am, you should be back to RSV by 4pm and inline at the border by 5:30pm.

Are you bring your own bikes? If so, someone from here may let you join them.

Yep, don't think you will find too many different answers here. I have not used them (yet), but Baja Bound is the only one that you will find on this board sharing everything from experiences, local knowledge, bike prep/set-up, and just about any other basic info that you might be in need of. I don't think that there is another tour group out there that is as readily accessible and shares with us peeps the way Tim does. That counts for a ton in my book. My gut tells me you get more of an experience than just a ride.
