Throttle slider stuck

Hi,

I am in the process of rejetting my 2006 WR250f and while replacing the needle, I think I pulled the throttle to far up (without a throttle stop in) and I had difficulty getting the slide back in. After some fiddling, I got it in, but the slide won't go all the way back down. The throttle only works from about 3/4 to WOT, and is jammed the rest of the way.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You probably got the AP cam unhooked on the throttle wheel side.

You have to unscrew the slide then you can rotate teh wheel and re-engage the cam.

No need to ever lift the slide to install the needle, actually easier if left down.

You should also never have the stop screw removed.
