fork sub tanks question

hello, I have a 02 crf/cr500 and a 97 yz 250. both bikes have sub tanks and fork mods done when i got the bikes. does any body know if this changes the amount of oil i should be putting in when changing fork seals? do these things really help, they sure look cool. thanks

The subtanks are known to be good for open bath fork such as on your 97 YZ, but they may not make such a big difference on the CRF fork. If i remember well, for the generic Enzo clone subtank you would use around 30 cc more oil than without the tank.

I have used fork tanks before. I would raise the oil to the maximum level.
