crank bearings?

hello im in the process of rebuilding the transmission on my 05 crf 450r and i was wondering how to remove the crankshaft main bearings im replacing them as well as all the other bearings in the bottom end, im guessing with a big socket and hit it thu also on the transmission there are some bearings that i cannot hit from the other side if you could give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated thanks

The ones you cant get to, to drive through you need a blind hole puller.

They arent a bunch of money. Sometimes you can get lucky though too.

After you get the case all clean etc...warm it up in the oven for 15 minutes or so at 200 degrees (F...not C!) and some times you can just drop the case half onto a piece of plywood and the bearing will just fall out! If not....ya need the blind hole puller. For a home guy the harbor freight deal is fine. But even with a blind hole puller warming the area with a propane torch helps a lot.
