cold tires and riding like a tw@

i found out this morning that if you accelerate hard them do an emergency stop with cold tires the back wheel tries to overtake you :-(

don't know how the fu*k i managed not to drop it!

I know exactly what you mean - the end of last season the front end washed out on a cold morning doing about 30mph around a tight corner. Luckly I was able to catch it and not wipe out. Now I have a clip on my brake line to remind me about cold tires and morning dew.

the rear tire just floats under heavy braking even at slow speeds

Approximately 90% of effective road braking is done by the Front...

Hard riding/braking on cold tyres is risky stuff....some learn the hard way...:smirk:

it's summer here in England, not that that means we won't Get ice though :-(
