Catalyst X knee braces from VQ Orthocare

I didn't get much input from my inquiry about experience with the Troy Lee Designs version of these braces on another forum, so ...

Has anyone had any experience with the black version of the Catalyst X from VQ Orthocare? I understand the only difference is the color and name on them.

You'd be surprised what the VQO version lists for. Let's just say you'd better have a prescription for them from an orthopedic specialist AND have you insurance deductible paid up.

Any experience with these out there?

nobody?

I dont know about the catalyst x ...but they do favor the CTi Pro-Sport.

I have a pair of the CTi Pro-Sports and they were $987.00 for the pair. I just had to pay $225.00 after my reinbursment from Athem.

IMO I would only use CTi knee braces cause I have a pair of 180's that are two years old and have held up well. I just recently upgraded to the Pro-Sports last month and like them way better than the 180's.

VQ makes a version of the catalyst for Troy Lee Designs. Basically its the Catalyst with a really nice knee cup. Its a legit brace that does not require a script to be affordable. At 550 per pair, they are the least expensive premium brace on the market and have received nothing but top marks from all the reviews I have seen. And YES I have a set and they are best IMO. Certainly the lightest and most comfortable. I have used asterisk, evs web, and tried on the pod. For my money the TLD brace was best value for the money.

Nothing like hearing from someone who has experience with several brands and still puts the Catalyst X on top.

The VQO version also has the knee protectors but I've not see a picture of them so don't know if they are same as TLD version.

Thanks. The decision is becoming easier and easier.

The laces on the Asterisk's are a hassle.

My buddys are hitting the trail while I'm fiddling with tightening the laces.
