dr 350se shifting problem

Recommended Posts

Its hard to find neutral when the bike is running and engine is hot. It was also very notchy and hard shifting when hot. The clutch itself seems to grab really well and not slip at all. Is my problem the thrust washers and spacer?

Make sure your clutch lever is adjusted properly. Also if you have kientech extended clutch arm make sure it's not hitting the oil line. My bet is it's a clutch engagement issue and not a transmission problem.

I found the problem, turned out to be the shift drum bolt had broke off.
