cleaning the head on a 4 stroke?

so i did some home done port and polish job, and dont bother telling me im going to loose power from doing it cause its done and over with. now im just wondering how i would approach getting every little aluminum shaving out of the nook and crannys.

yeah sorta, but i knew there had to be a way since people do it in the first place. i have it soaking in a really hot really soapy bath right now, and it seems to be working pretty good so i guess ill see how that works out.
