YZ250 top end work

Recommended Posts

I sent my top end off to Eric Gorr for re-plating, porting and mill work, should have it back tomorrow. He set it up for more low to mid and allowed for race fuel.

Is there anything I will need to do to accommodate for those changes? Like re-jetting or anything?

Trying to learn how to do all this stuff myself.

Thanks in advance

I did the same exact thing, except for pump gas instead of race gas. I didnt notice any bogging but Im not sure either whether I need to re jet. I did notice a pretty huge diffrence in throttel response and bottom end :smirk:

I just cut a head to 19cc's and .045 squish for race fuel. Noooooo question it has more bottom end. Keep good fuel in it and ask Eric where to time it. It is gonna be a hoot.
