O-ring train

Is an o-ring chain really worth 30 more dollars than a regular non o-ring chain?

for trails id say yea, track just go with the regular chain

Considering an o-ring chain will last several times longer than a regular chain.. I'd say yes.

Quality sprokets will make your chain last longer. I used to adjust chain constantly due to stretching. Got good sprokets and Oring chain, now I adjust once or twice a year. Buy a new set every year.

worth every penny

Don't buy an "O" ring chain, they are old technology. Buy an "X" or "T" ring chain.

If you like riding more than adjusting chains and replacing parts, a DID 520VT2 x-ring chain combined with Ironman sprockets is the best way to go. This combo will last 200+ hours on less than a handful of adjustments. In the long run, it costs less than running cheaper parts.

I've done before and after dyno runs and there is 0hp loss with these chain & sprockets.

i thought orings would be deatroyed by the sand? :smirk:

I ride a lot of sand tracks and that's not the case with DID x-ring chains.
