Its a great time! like 600 riders, but not like a traffic jam like you would think... its very well run, and people pull over and let you pass..... its a lot of fun! there are two courses a 25 mile course, and then you continue on for an additional 25-30 miles if you do the long course. and they give good prizes away... fyi, the guy that talks on the mic and gives prizes away likes to talk!!!!!!! so it takes time to get those prizes... but all in all great event and like shortburb says, $ goes back into trails and thats a great thing!!!!

Hope you like it! I'll be on a yz450 with casino theme graphix and #353! lf ya see me say hi! see ya Kris and have fun!

Kris,

Its a lot of fun. But it is a NON COMPETITIVE event, so expect other riders and other skill levels. Please don't treat it like a race.

Also, the trails are not owned or leased by the RRMMC, so the trails are open to everyone like a normal day, I STRONGLY encourage everyone NOT in the event to follow the arrows, but I can't make them.

All the funds go back into the trails and the RRMMC

We expect about 350 riders in the Spring.

I'll be the guy at the front gate "greeting" so say "hi"

Rod

RRMMC President.

I went on the fall run last year and it was a lot of fun. I will be there, not sure how many of my friends are going with. There's plenty of people to ride with even if you show up by yourself. Watch out for oncoming traffic, especially along 629.

I've been spoiled by riding tracks all winter long and I had to get used to the traffic this past weekend. :smirk:

We didn't get our entry forms in the mail in time. Hopefully we can sign up at the desk.

Only 150 pre entries (normal) which puts us around 300 riders. No worries about getting a number.

I gathered a couple guys.

I'm on a white 2 stoke Honda (cr500af) with yellow #720 number plates.

See ya out there!

Mind if I drool all over your bike?

So far it's just one buddy and me going. He'll be on a KX450, I'll be on a YZ450 w/ white plastics.

It sounds like an old air cooled husaberg.

It vibrates Luke a pornstars nightstand

Shit rattles off it like iv never tightened that bolt 6 times.

It makes a ton of power but its a gen 1. Not as refined as the newer ones....

Flag me down and well trade bikes for a couple miles...

Plans got busted this last weekend. Was up riding at my land in Jefferson and ate a little dirt. Sprained my right foot and ankle severely and still can't walk on it. Looks like I am not going to make it, wish I could.

It's a great time. Usually someone is there taking pictures of riders and offering them for sale. I did the poker run a couple of times when I lived in CO and am staring at the pictures hanging in my office right now. :ride:
