it usually pops out of 3rd and on
I heard that it could be a bent shaft. The guy that told me was pretty confident that it was so i'll try that. Anybody else have any ideas?
Bent shifter fork/dog damage or damage to the shifter mechanism.
Pop the clutch and hub out and inspect the mechanisim. If that is ok, then it is a bent shifter for or damaged dogs
The dogs on the gears where the two gears mesh into each other might be rounded off causeing it to pop outmight have to get them built up and machined or get new gears,like the others said shift fork bent and or shaft.
