One more thing,

I changed the oil when I bought it but I did not know there were 2 drain plugs. Does the crank case hold very much oil?

Yes, there will be oil in the crankcase, amount depends on how long the engine sits without being run. When the bike sits, the oil slowly drains into the crankcase. If the oil stick shows full, you should get at least 1.5 qts. by draining both plugs.
