No Toil Air Filter on a XR250R question - new XR250 owner

Recommended Posts

I know by now most of you run and love Uni Filter :smirk:. I have a Uni in the bike I just bought, but it does not have the cool cage.

I like and use the No toil system on my YZ's. I know it eats glue so I thought I would use their filter, but it fits like crude!!!:smirk:

Question: Do you leave the part of the base that runs across the base? It seems to keep the filter from setting down on the base.

Any other input would be helpful.
