1999 kx125 rear shock fluid and gas capacities

Recommended Posts

I have a shock from a 1999 KX 125 that I have replaced the seals on, I would like some information on the nitrogen capacity and fluid capacity. Pictures are an asset to this old guy.

On that shock...and many others...is there really an oil amount that you go by or the normal bleed process to get all the air out? Now if you're asking how much oil you have to buy and have on hand, then probably 1 quart should get you by unless you're really messy and wasteful during the bleed procedure. On that shock and bike, I'll bet Kawasaki is recommending 150psi, but maybe someone can verify that for sure.
