Pipe and Silencer for 2012 250SX (w/ 300 sx kit)

I'd like to order a pipe and a shorty or something like that for my new orange.

(Suspension is at the shop, time to get the rest dialed in... )

Will 2011sx pipes and silencers fit the 2012sx in general?

Does somebody make pipes for the 300 version?

How is the stock pipe on that bike?

Will a FMF Shorty fit on a stock pipe?

So far I am planning on getting the FMF Shorty, but I don't know which pipe.

This is a track-only bike... no dezert, etc.

Thanks in advance!

(BTW, I am not trying to squeeze more power out of it, since the 300 kit will have plenty. But I usually put the brand new stock stuff back on the bike when I sell it...and buying an aftermarket exhaust is just a great thing to do...)

Bump for what he said......trying to keep my "original" parts as new appearing as possible.

Hi,

I have an 11 250 sx and yes fmf shorty does fit the oem pipe, makes a huge difference on power delivery, but i now also have an gnarly pipe and it is even better.

The bike feels so much smoother since the power is now right there when you want it,just a little sooner than on stock pipe.

Sounds weird that it makes it feel smoother but it does.

The hit with stock pipe was uncanny, hard to get traction on slippery tracks.

Oh and check out the sound with shorty, braap

So you think they are the same, no matter if 2012 or 2011. Or in other words, a 2011 exhaust fits the 2012 bike as well?

Yes..
