places to ride in eastern iowa?

i've been struggling to find places to ride (trail) and am really getting tired of some of the trails i know of, anyone know any good places? ?

Bluff creek in bussey isn't to far from you. That's where I go and there's plenty of trails

There's information on the iowa ohv website but I don't think there's a whole lot

on the bluff creek site it says as like a comment thing "that if bikes are titled" does that mean i dont need an ohv permit to ride there just the title?

You will need the iowa ohv reg. Sticker and document its like 26 dollars a year I for all the ohvs in iowa

And you will need to prove that you payed sales tax on your bike. So if you bought your bike used, or out of state, IA wants your money.

i think i payed sales tax for it we bought it from a dealer in oklahoma, but would we have to pay for it again here? that just seems kind of stupid... but do i just go to the dnr site to register it?

You get it registered at the county recorders office and they give you the dnr sticker. Plus they will have info on the parks you can ride at. Maybe we can ride sometime at bluff creek!

Yeah keep us informed on this thread. I'm about 2.5hrs from there and like riding there once a year or so. Been needing a reason to head south.

Also depending on where you are in Eastern iowa, the 600acres park north of iowa city is pretty fun. Also we have a decent park in waterloo here. I like Bluff Creek the best out of all the parks.
