Do Supermoto Wheels from a WR 450 fit a DRZ?

Hello folks,

I have a 2003 DRZ 400 S that is presently dual purpose. I have the chance to buy a blown up 2004 Yamaha WR450 as parts with 17" Warp 9 rims and Michelin Pilot tires - both literally new.

Does anyone know without going to to extraordinary measures are the wheel compatible or will spacers and bearing be a major headache? Are there any web-sites that list or give insight into what bikes could share wheels

I may buy the bike anyway and part it out because it is a good deal.

Call Jason at warp9. He will be able to tell you. Warp9 uses KTM hub patterns for rotors/sprockets so my guess is that you would only need the DRZ spacers from them.

the axle diameter is different.

front wr is a 20mm axle and rear is a 22mm. I think the drz front is 20mm and the rear is a 20mm. Its a simple bearing swap for the rear and im sure how warp 9 plans this out. I doubt they make bike specific hubs for everything since they run ktm bolt patterns.
