Need help putting my bike back together!

Recommended Posts

My 03 kx 125 recently blew the top end, i just got the cylinder back from being re-sleeved today. I have all the parts i need Gaskets, piston, etc... The only thing is i have no clue how to throw it back together, I watched the video on youtube, on how to rebuild a top end on a 2 stroke doesnt seem to bad i just dont want to mess anything up after i put all of this money into it. The video said something about ring gaps, and proper torque specs I really dont know anything about it. This is my first rebuild and i could really use some help i would really appreciate it thanks.

First thing you do is go buy a factory service manual.

Second you need to clean and inspect the bottom end. When the top goes bad enough that you need cylinder work, your going to have junk in the bottom.
