KX 250 fouling plugs

Recommended Posts

I have a 2003 KX 250 that is fouling plugs like crazy. I put a new plug in and went riding only to have it foul 2hrs into the ride. I mix my fuel and oil at 32:1. Any suggestions on what is going on? When I am idling through the bush its pretty smoky, but when I am on it the smoke goes away. I'm back into riding after 22 years and just looking for some help on solving my problem. Thanks

your oil ratio is alittle too thick for your riding style. what are you running for oil? i suggest amsoil dominator at 40:1. you probably wont ever fowl a plug again

1. go to the 2-stroke forum

2. what' s your jetting

3. jetting is for max. power, not for prevent fouling plugs. so if you just cruising around you need a hoter spark plug (ngk b7...)
