front brake squeaking/sticking

rm 85 front brake squeaking/sticking at one spot. disc doesn't seem bent or damaged. when i spin the wheel, it spins freely all the way around except for in one spot. how can i fix this? clean the disc? new pads? any help is appreciated.

sounds like it is bent to me. it can spin freely everywhere else but there, and then sticks... unless.

1) It is worn down everywhere except that one point. :smashpc:

2) It swelled at the one point. 👍

3) it is tweeked a little. (most likely but I could be wrong)

Before buying a new rotor, take the biggest cresent wrench you have and figure out wich side the rotor is bent to...Wheel on the bike.... slide the wrench over the disk at the point it is bent and pull it back into line. little bits at a time... all the while checking the wheel by spinning it looking for clearence.

I did it all the time for my DH MTB disk brakes. :busted:
