Marysvale to Harbour Grace

Recommended Posts

Lorenzo (Husqvarna TE310) and I booked the day off from work on Thursday, and took advantage of the beautiful weather to do some off road riding. We spent the day riding up and down the trail system between Marysvale and Harbour Grace (Eastern Newfoundland), and a few interesting side trails along the way. We put about a hundred klicks on the bikes and burned up a full tank of gas each. Sure was a great way to spent a weekday.

Here's a video and some photos...

It was a fun ride, not the usual sort of riding we do but there was some slow technical sections in places. Not sure what a "weir" is but that ride was mostly on a old railway line network that was scrapped and the tracks removed in the 1970's

I now have 16 hours on my 2011 te310 and loving it, will soon "Power Up" thanks for looking, Thankyou geoff (klx450r) for posting it.

All those narrow passages, are they weirs or something?

Those are railway trestles, left over from before the railway route was decommissioned. The old defunct railbeds make for excellent ATV throughways, with most of the old trestles still holding up well. There are usually bypasses or homemade bridges in place, where the trestles have become washed out or fallen into disrepair, too.

Thankyou geoff (klx450r) for posting it.

Hopefully we'll squeeze in another trail riding adventure soon, bud.
