Adventure ride in Renfro Valley, KY?

Does anyone know if there is going to be an adventure ride at Renfro Valley, KY, this year? There was one 2 yrs. ago that I thought was awesome. I rode the DS ride there in May and they said they were considering an adv. ride this year, I haven't heard anything since, nothing on the AMA schedules. Any other adv. rides in the KY., OH., IND, TN. area? I put knobbies on my KLR and am dying to try them out. That poor bike hasn't seen any dirt to speak of yet!

I know that the Bufflo 500 in Indiana did a ADV ride, and I was pretty sure that Renfro did also. Check here to see the 2012 Flyers, and they will tell you when there is a ADV ride also. http://usdualsports.blogspot.com/

Go on over and ride at S-tree. Or you could ride the white diamond trail from 909 @ I 75 to turkey foot. Just skip the little ST part between battle field mountain and S-tree.

I've thought about that. I did once about 15 yrs ago. Ihaven't been to s-tree in a long time, and am not sure how I'll like it on my KLR650. That bikes a hoss, and I'm not.

Well if you start @ 909 and skip that little part I talked about it's all gravel, paved or jeep trail untill you get to the campground at S-Tree. I don't know how much rain you got but if you got what we got your not going to be able to cross a creek you need to cross. That is if you take the non-maintained road off of 89 to the forest road and on to the camp. If you follow the markers you will go that way. One of the riders in my group said the ADV ride they were on at Renfro went that way.

Looks like there will be a Dual Sport ride in 2012 at Renfro Vally got the flyer in the mail. I can't seem to get the flyer to post on here so everyone can see it. I posted it at www.usdualsports.com
