CR gas tank

I just like the look of the CR250s gas tanks with the scoops on the front. does any one knoe if they would fit a XR250 its a 92. Does any one have any pics of one on a XR

It takes quite a bit of work to fit a aloop kit to a pre 96 XR

Need to make spacers out of marine plywood to fit between frame and seat base

I screwed this onto seat base.

Also need custom tank mounts and seat mounts.

For a pre '96 XR250R you'll need to use the kit for a XR650L. Converting it should be simple and straight forward. 🤣

It will also allow some extra room so USD forks will fit without interference. :smashpc:

Those look nice but I realy like the look of the older CRs 85-?. I love the colors also red with blue seat. I looked at frams on ebay 85-? CRs, and 92 ish XRs and the top tubes look similer.

The frame isn't the issue. The tank from a CR won't fit over the engine.

The exhaust side possibly high enough but the other side hangs way low.

The CR125, CR250 and CR500's all have the same design.
