kiethin airstriker 2002 CR250R?

Recommended Posts

hi everyone.im seriously about to buy a kiethin pwk 38mm from jd jetting. my mikunis not bad but i noticed itll load up when riding slow and off the gas for a period of time. it has a S-9 needle jet,380 main jet,and a 32.5 slow jet. needle in second from top position.so other than the kiethin being easyer to jet what is better about it?. or is there anything better than the tmx at all.if anyone has made the swap how did it improve your bike. i would like to know this. thanks!!!

We should really have a PWK jetting database sticky 👍

39mm PWK on a 02 CR250. Even being a 39 here is just no comparison to the off idle throttle response compared to my JD kitted TMX! :ride:.

42P

3rd clip 99 CR250 needle

187M

4500-8000' up to 10k on occasion.

Thanks for the input....That is where I will start. I have no idea what is actually in the carb, the e-bay listing did not specify. Happy to hear that the stock needle is working for others, one less thing for me to replace.
