Chain guide

Recommended Posts

I feel like a noob, but i cant get my chain guide right... no matter how i try to assemble it, it doesnt seem right, seems too tight on the chain.

Maybe its just supposed to be tight... but the way i installed it was

Swingarm mount, metal plate, then the two plastic halfs.

at the dealer i seen

metal piece, swingarm mount, then the plastic pieces. but both ways bring undesired results

KTM450 adapted a much more durable and reduced right to abuse that I give to the bike. Much deep groove and stone walkways.

His adaptation requires some use of grinder, but the satisfactory result.

Im not trying in any way to modify, I just wanted to make sure I was putting the stock back on right. I just didn't believe it created that much resistance, but I've tried most ways and it seemed only one logical way. But that's good info for later. Thanks

It looks like that chain in the picture never gets any oil on it.

Try some of this once in a while, it's FANTASTIC !

This is what I use on all my bike chains, I'm done with the wax forever.
