165 rear tire?

Recommended Posts

160's are a tight fit...

There are a number of 160's to choose from, who makes a 165 tire ?

I believ a number of race tires are listed in this size....

There are a number of 160's listed at 160mm but true width is at least 3-5mm less. I thought Michelin and maxxis/goldspeed listed supermoto slicks in that size, I could be wrong dont qoute me

I know awhile ago I ran shinko ravens and there 160 was like 156mm

the only 165 road tires I've ever used were Dunlop non DOT racing rain tires for a 5.5" wheel. they don't work on the road. they get dry, they chunk.

you needed a racing license to buy them.

most 160 series tires were made for 4.5" wheels.

believe Bridgestone made some 165 slicks as well. you don't want to put those on a streetbike.

things may have changed, I've been out of it for a couple years.
